Pinnacle Wall Systems has rapidly grown into the preferred drywall and plastering company for many general contractors in the Minneapolis / St Paul area, Western Wisconsin and beyond. Our customer base of general contractors is constantly growing because of our professional and prompt drywall and plastering application. The company is owned by Brandon Hager and Jack Mulcahy who strive to create the best work environment for their employees.

Our Mission

As experts in commercial drywall and plastering services, Pinnacle Wall Systems is committed to building on our reputation of providing quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and a safe working environment in order to meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.

Vision

To be the contractor of choice in the local construction industry through dedication, experience and disciplined employees with an ongoing passion to deliver quality, timely and profitable projects.

Our History

In 2011, Jack and Brandon were determined to start their own company and put the industry's best practices to work. The company was officially launched at the beginning of 2012 and quickly exceeded goals put forth by significant amounts. The immediate success made it a lot easier for Pinnacle Wall Systems to build business relationships with insurance companies, bonding companies, financial institutions, material suppliers, tool suppliers, and many others along the way. Nothing is more telling of what a general contractor thinks of us than them choosing to continue working with us on their next project, with most of our work being repeat business. We are constantly evaluating where we are, what we are doing, and how we can improve.

More About Our Owners

  • Brandon Hager

Brandon has been around construction all of his life. His father, grandfather, and several uncles have been in commercial construction, specifically all union carpenters in the drywall industry. Other than the projects he helped his father with while young, Brandon started a job framing houses during the summers at age 16 and 17, working other jobs during the school year. Out of high school, he went to Dunwoody College of Technology, graduating in 2002, working in construction during the time going to school. After Dunwoody, he went to work for one of the larger drywall companies in the Twin Cities area that his father worked many years at. He quickly caught onto the estimating and project management side of things with smaller projects, moving into the larger projects.

He worked for a couple different companies prior to starting Pinnacle, trying to apply the good traits of each company and leaving the negatives behind, learning a lot and building a lot of relationships along the way.  He has gone through all of the cycles of this construction industry.  The highs, busy times, can be great.  The lows, and slow times, can prove to be extremely challenging.  He has always found a way through them, learning a lot along the way.

Outside of work, Brandon lives in Forest Lake, MN with his wife and 3 boys. Brandon enjoys going to the cabin in Siren, Wisconsin. He enjoys all of the outdoor activities including fishing, recreational boating, snowmobiling in the winter, and many others.

  • Jack Mulcahy

Jack started work in the commercial drywall and plaster industry in 1994. Starting out at the age of 17, his expertise was scrapping out various projects, insulating, and hanging drywall -mostly above ceilings and in spaces less agile fellas could fit. As the son of a millwright, his interest in construction was cultivated by the many hours spent in the garage with his father, learning to weld, use various tools and equipment, and learning to cuss about old cars, rusty bolts, and the skinned knuckles that go along with it. While attending school at the University of MN, Jack continued working summers as a plasterer, tender, laborer on demolition crews, and as a carpenter until 1998, when his employer offered him a position as an assistant project manager.

He quickly moved up to estimator/ project manager and within 2 years, Jack was designated project manager for the Mayo Clinic Gonda Building which was a major addition to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and the largest project his employer had ever worked on. He spent the next 4 years in Rochester, performing over $20 million in drywall and plaster work and learning and growing the business in Southeast Minnesota. Following the economic downturn in 2008, Jack along with his current business partner, Brandon Hager, was instrumental in starting a new commercial drywall company with former coworkers. By 2011, Jack and his new business partner assembled all their knowledge, advice, good and bad experience, and passion for success, and launched Pinnacle Wall Systems in January 2012. Through his experience and transitions from employee, to management, to employer, he has built a philosophy around appreciating and respecting the work of coworkers and employees and treating the business of his customers as serious as his own.

In his free time, Jack enjoys his time with his wife and 3 daughters, spending time at the ranch in northern MN, being in the outdoors hunting, fishing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and any other activity that involves friendly folks and a cold beverage.
